Meet your tour guide

Hello everyone and welcome to my passion project, PASPAC Podcast. My name is Rebecca Harrell, MPA, PA-C and I'm glad you're here! I graduated with my Master of Physician Assistant at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2022 where I was a successful mentor and tutor to the class below. I sat

for the PANCE 10 days after graduation and became nationally certified 4 days after that, with my first job contract already signed.  Prior to my Masters, I studied at Virginia Commonwealth University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Anthropology with a concentration in Biological Anthropology. As as a New Grad, I have been overwhelmed by all there is to learn (on top, of remembering all we've already learned). I also haven't been out of the game long enough to forget how overwhelming the entire journey was, from Pre-PA to  PA-S and, finally, to PA-C. I have had the dream to create a comprehensive educational PA podcast with a travel theme since the middle of my didactic year when COVID struck and I was stuck inside of my house hitting those heavy textbooks, listening to a variety of different medical education podcasts, and writing/reviewing endless practice questions for the seemingly endless exams (plus only having my pets to entertain me since my husband was deployed). In addition to my love for medicine, I have been a lover of travel my whole life and felt the comparisons between my two passions, while cheesy to some, are pretty spot on. I hope to bring some "pun" to your most intense study days, help build up your foundation as a competent and ethical provider, and supply you with some helpful resources and info along the way.

So please, sit back, relax, and enjoy your PASPAC journey

- Becca
